Mould Mallet
Features Ash hardwood construction utilizing the same wood species baseball bats are made from. Use to generly release bullets from mold cavities. Ergonomic design makes it convenient and comfortable to use during long casting sessions. Mallet is 10 inches long.
Lee Ingot mould
Use to case ½ and one pound ingots (2 of each). Perfect for re-melting and alloying. Wood handles stay cool. Aluminum mold is lightweight and rustproof.
Cerrosafe ; Bismuth Chamber Casting Alloy
CerroSafe® is a special alloy of Bismuth, Tin, Lead and other metals, that shrinks slightly during the first 30 minutes, to allow easy removal, then expands to exact original size in one hour. We recommend CerroSafe® for making a chamber cast. CerroSafe® melts easily between 158° to 190° F, the temperature of hot water.
Lead Dipper
Our dipper with cast iron head is shaped for easy, accurate pouring and prevents air pockets in the finished bullet. The long stem dipper can also be used for stirring molten lead alloys. Wooden handle stays cool in use.
Digital Lead Thermometer, Lyman.
The Lyman Digital Thermometer is a fast and accurate way to check the temperature of your casting alloy. The long 6” probe will work with the largest casting furnaces and keeps your hand away from molten lead. The large, easy to read display can be set for Fahrenheit or Celsius and also features a hold button to lock a reading on the display.
Lead Thermometer
This stainless steel thermometer will measure a temperature range from 200°F to 1000°F and has a six inch stem for use with even the deepest furnaces.
Lee Hardness Tester
No more wasted components shooting too soft or too hard lead. Cast and load with confidence knowing your alloy is up to the job. Quickly and precisely check hardness of your lead alloy. Exclusive conversion chart tells the maximum operating pressure of any lead alloy.
Kit includes calibrated hardened steel ball indenter "v" block cradle snaps into standard press ram 20 power 4 lens optical measuring microscope.
Saeco Lead Hardness Tester
The SAECO Lead Hardness Tester measures alloy hardness by determining the depth of penetration of a hardened steel indenter into a bullet. Relative hardness of the bullet is read off a vernier scale.
