17AEU is .464" high," Metric" Dovetail.

Made by Lyman, this "Ideal" front sight is one of our most popular early cartridge era target sights. All 17's are machined from blued steel.

This special sight has a metric dovetail to fit the Lyman Great Plains rifle, CVA, Traditions, and other imported rifles with a .360" dovetail.
The sight height is measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the centre of the aperture. Each sight includes a set of eight inserts.
The dovetail base measures .360" dovetail, .105" deep, and .531" wide.
